Agroport-D

This is a tall F1 hibrid with large leaves and the edges curving down. The number of harvestable leaves is 23-25. The resistance to potato virus Y is very high, similar to Pallagi 5. It is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and black root rot. It isn’t susceptible to brown spot. The growth rate is very dinamic in the seedbed and in the field. Yield potential is high (3000-3200 kg/ha). This variety has good drought tolerance, therefore it can be grown under unirrigated conditions. The ripening rate is medium-late. If properly cured it produces leaves with good colour and leaf tissue and smoking quality.
